One of the most important activities of DAMARO, and one we have been deploying since the start of our activities back in 1997, is to assist producing companies worldwide to achieve their export aspirations in a given market. We study the possibilities of a company or a product and asses their potential given the market or market segment desired. Once the potential has been established we provide active export management support.

Examples of these activities are several and they include:

  • Feasibility study and export of Dutch Premium Beers to Chile and Argentina (from December of 1997 to present)

  • Feasibility study and export of Dutch mushrooms between The Netherlands and the former Soviet Republics like Russia and The Ukraine (January to July 1998)

  • Feasibility study of the export potential of Indian Tee to Russia (April to October 1997)

  • Feasibility study and export of sunflower seed oils between Argentina and the former Soviet Republics (April 1997 to November 1998)

  • Feasibility study of the export potential of salted pistachio nuts between Iran and Western Europe (may of 2000)

  • Feasibility study and export of Spanish Wines worldwide (September of 2001 to June 2003)

  • Feasibility study and export of Brazilian Slate between Brazil and both West and East Europe ( June 2001 to October 2005)

Related activities

  • Master classes and conferences on Export and International Marketing in several countries (among others in Argentina, April 1997)

  • Commercial missions headed by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and other members of parliament (among others to the MERCOSUR countries in may 2000)
